I don't know if this is considered a unique case, but one of my parents is an employee with the university. In addition to a good High School transcript, few letters of recommendation, passing the Entrance Exam, and some of the professors knew me from my childhood, it was a cinch for me to get in (Of course, I followed the admissions process).

For those who are interested, you have to fill out an application, write an essay, have medical records, and have your ACT/SAT scores and High School transcripts prepared. It also looks good on the record for the Admissions Dept. to see your involvement with your High School and in the community.

I printed the application online and sent it in. Even if you do not meet academic standards for typical entry, if you have an undergrad degree they will probably still let you in on probation. Once in, it is easy to get A's if you show up to class and do the work.

Filled out application, wrote an essay, sent in current resume along with recent high school/college transcripts. I recommend going to a community college and earn as many credits as you possibly can. With NLU being a private University it is very pricey. One perk is NLU will take most of your credits, so highly recommended!
