| | I got a really high SAT score (1500) and my 3 semesters before transferring were all 4.0s. I think it would be safe to say that someone who can afford to pay for NYU stands a better chance of being admitted than someone who cannot. Study some, do activities in school, get a decent SAT score, and write a good essay...not really anything to say there. You will get in if your rich and have good SAT's I think extra actitivities are very very important (I was a varsity athlete in 2 sports). NYU's Manhattan location offers tremendous opportunities, so in evaluating applicants, the school places a premium on those who have made good use of the opportunities provided to them.
