OBU is 100% what you make it! I foundAug 07 2019Communications
OBU is 100% what you make it! I found my "people" and was quickly able to get comfortable in the college world. However, if you do something you might not be proud of, be prepared for everyone to know what you did. Gossip is pretty wild at times and students can also be pretty petty, but if you lean on the community you have created, you can get through it with ease.

FACULTY/STAFF IS AMAZING. They want you to succeed and they want to know your story!! Let them invest in you, because that is the calling most of them have on their hearts. Some of my most fond memories included faculty and staff that have supported me, fed me and even housed me while here.

Any negative comment I could ever have about OBU is peer related. There are some "old-school" and close-minded people here (particularly in the male, theology department) but they are pretty easy to ignore or get a good laugh at by reading their Tweets.

Seriously, if I could do it all again I would! I have loved OBU and I will be so sad when I graduate in the Spring. If you want to go to a school that doesn't treat you as a number and treats you as a person, you should 100% tour OBU!
