When I applied to Ohio State, I expected a much more prestigious school. After all, they are THE Ohio State University. Classes were very watered down and relatively easy to get through after transferring from the university I attended classes at in high school. I recommend that future students adjust their schedule if they are looking for challenge courses. Most in my department were a snooze fest.

Maintain high GPA and ACT/SAT scores, but most importantly, enter the university with at least 30 college credits already completed (community college). Ideally, I wouldn't recommend anyone to transfer here with less than 60 credits from community college, as all of the most painful classes will need to be completed here.

It has gotten a lot harder to get into OSU. Aim for a 27 ACT and be ranked pretty high in your class and you should be fine.
