I met a girl that they accepted & enrolled on the first day of registration. She just showed up. She came on her own asking if there was a way - they let her.
I haven't met anyone that has not gotten in this school.
I was so excited when, after the audition for pba's theater department as a high school senior: i found out I got in. When i came on campus, I realized they don't turn anyone from their musical theater program. They accepted tone deaf people!
I was myself in the essay and when I talked to the admissions staff people and shared my faith in the Lord - They were very helpful with my transcripts from overseas. Do well in school and be yourself in the essay and interview.
Activities outside (like volunteering) of school helped me, I took a lot of AP classes which made my gpa pretty nice. Really down to earth though, if you don't have that great of scores they will work with you.
