I think I got in because throughout high school I was very active in community service in addition to getting high grades. Seems like PC looks for students who actually care about people and want to make a positive difference in the world.

Being local, I had the advantage of knowing many staff members, but really scoring a 1200 on the SAT (old SAT), and applying as normal, was all I did to become a student.
