Have a high gpa, take honors and AP if you canJan 06 2007Communications
Have a high gpa, take honors and AP if you can...I'm pretty sure they didn't even look at recommendations or extracurriculars, or at least not closely. The essay is a joke, like 2 paragraphs, so write about something different but really succinctly.

They basically let in anyoneSep 22 2006Biology
They basically let in anyone. You're basically gaurunteed a spot if you write an essay without mispellings. If you have a High School GPA above 3.1 and an SAT above 1200, they'll offer you a spot on the honors.
SAT: 1190 Male
Online application-your high school GPA is extremely importantJul 16 2006Biology
Online application-your high school GPA is extremely important. For the honors college, your essays are the single most important factor. You have to have a 1350 SAT to apply, but it is not a factor in admission once you have met this minimum.
SAT: 1470 Male
Well, I applied here as a safety school, soJan 29 2006Political Science
Well, I applied here as a safety school, so I wasnt too worried about it. However, it is a top ranked school, so you have to make sure that your application is in EARLY and that you have a kickass essay. If you only get in with the stipulation that you have to go and do the summer session... do it. I didnt do it, but all of my friends who did LOVED it.
If you have good grades and good SAT scores,May 09 2005Chemical Engineering
If you have good grades and good SAT scores, you'll probably get in because virtually the entire criteria is based around those two factors. If you're out of state, it's a little tougher. If you're a borderline applicatn, try writing an essay online
SAT: 1370 Male
