I played trumpet and tried to be as goodMay 12 2009PreMed and Medical
I played trumpet and tried to be as good as I could be. I also ran cross country. Basically, you have to be "The best" in whatever you do (unless they know that not being the best is still extremely exceptional in your unique case). SATs have to be solid too. This will sound harsh, but the stars need to line up if you want to gain admittance to this school. If anything bad happens, any major blemishes on your record, your spot will go to someone who didn't have this blemish. Of course, if you cure cancer or something, I'm sure that will allow them to overlook a C in English. Otherwise, you should have extremely high grades in the most difficult courses offered at your institution. After that, just apply and hope that you get lucky!

Grades and test scores mean littleFeb 20 2008Economics
Grades and test scores mean little. Passion and dedcication to activities outside of high school helps tremendously. I only applied to Harvard and Princeton, and got into both, so what do I know?
