I honestly went out of not knowing what else to do. I liked the look of the campus, but I certainly wasn't in love with it. Do your research and make sure that the school offers what you are looking for. Quinnipiac is really good at showing you all of the pretty stuff on tours, but remember that no college is entirely perfect. Don't go here if you're interested in art, because it's really non-existent.

I applied in late November and I was accepted in early January. I did not go on an interview, but I attended a Saturday Information Session. If I was applying again, I would do the exact same thing I did before. It is not necessary to have an interview; they are informational only. You get the same information out of an interview as you would in an information session. Make sure you get your application in early! It will ease your mind and your parents' minds if you hear back before Christmas.

I just was completely honest on my essay and application; they have a knack of sorting out those that genuinely are good people and those that lie. Extracurriculars are of major importance, as they take a strong stand in their "Get Involved" mentality. Just study hard, get into as many extra curricular activities as you can handle, do well on SAT/ACT, and write a genuine essay, and you should be in!

I applied early when it was rolling admissions. I got in extremely quickly granted I'm male and a female driven campus so it was a little easier. I had a 3.5/and 24 on ACT's so I was a good candidate with tons of extra curricular activities, I also attended many events hosted by QU.

good class rank, good SAT's, good essay, and apply early because its rolling admission, the earlier you apply the better chance you have.
