I had a 4.0 GPA all through high school so it wasn't tough for me to get in. However, I encourage students to do well on their SAT as well. Overall, if you're a good student, you'll be admitted. Queens also looks for students who are also involved in their school, we are big on service and giving back to our community. We have tons of service projects that students can participate in.

I had a 3.1 GPA and sent in the free application with an essay (optional) and a few recommendation letters from some high school teachers. I heard within a month of when i sent my application in.

Getting in to Queens is not hard at all, but it may start getting more competitive as it grows. The better you do in school and on your SAT, the better the scholarship. I would say 90% of Queens receives some form of scholarship directly from the school.
It's easy to get in to, but the work is still hard work!
