To get into Rockhurst and to be offered goodNov 03 2016Education
To get into Rockhurst and to be offered good scholarship money, you will want to have a fairly high GPA, and an ACT score of at least 24. It is also an option for some students to attend Competitive Scholars Day, which is an interview process for those with a certain GPA and ACT score to compete for a full tuition scholarship. Not many students receive the scholarship, but it is definitely worth looking into, and the experience is good for future interviews.

My ACT and SAT scores were low, but I had high grades in high school so that got me in.
Get involvedJan 05 2010Business - Management and Administration
Get involved. It is easy to be involved on the campus. Greek life is great. I wish more people would attend sporting events - I enjoy still going to basketball and soccer games.

Come from a family that can fork over lotsMay 17 2009Other
Come from a family that can fork over lots of money to Rockhurst outright... or have a very high ACT and SAT score and get a scholarship. If you get in on a scholarship though, be prepared for Rockhurst to show NO understanding and cut you NO slack whatsover... in hopes that they can get you to have to pay them instead. This school does not care about true academic prowess in its students. It only cares about perpetuating its name as a brand of the Kansas City area.

I applied to RU and was acceptedJan 12 2009Nursing
I applied to RU and was accepted. I also scored high enough on my ACT to obtain direct admit to the nursing program (which goes through Research Hospital). Especially if you're going to be a nursing student, I would suggest working to obtain a high ACT score.
ACT: 26 Female
