Work hard at your college essay, and make it memorable. Also, try to get in contact with your admissions advisor while you're applying, it'll help them remember you and show that you really want to get into Ramapo.

A Joke, as the school is losing many studentsMar 03 2017Computer Science
A Joke, as the school is losing many students by the year and needs to fill classes.

Have a decent GPA and SAT/ACT scoreMar 05 2016Communications
Have a decent GPA and SAT/ACT score. My SATs weren't stellar, but I was in the top 10% of my class and had a lot of extracurriculars. Honors/AP courses also help. If you want a scholarship, be in the top 5% to 10% with a high SAT score (like 1300+). If you apply as a transfer, it's much, much easier to get in.

B- to A- high school record.
They accept a lot of really unintelligent kids nowadays. If you have around or over a 3.0 and anything additional on your 'resume' you'll get in.
Please don't apply here though, let them destroy themselves further. Your money will not go to good cause.

(I forgot my SAT score, i think it was 1640 or 1604) I basically completed all the requirements (SATS, letters of Rec, transcript, etc.). This was my first choice and only school I applied too (I was accepted on Immediate Decision Day) because of the Psych programs, closeness to NYC, far enough away from home to dorm but enough to drive back for doctor appointments or emergencies, holidays, etc. I would recommend this school but base it on major (psych for example may be strong than say music education), and all of its other qualities.
For me, the other big draw is the size, big enough where you don't know everyone yet small enough that professors know you by name, not number.
