Essay (24) | I did well in high school and graduated with honors, participated in a lot of extra curricular activities and obtained leadership positions, did over 100 hours of community service in the National Honor Society, and took advantage of many opportunities to ensure good test scores. I took both the ACT and the SAT. I also used the Common App to cut down on time. Lastly, I had multiple people review my essays and personal statements.  Electrical Engineering | Feb 01 2012 | It's easy to get in because they really want to let YOU specifically in. They want people who are actively persuing their passion and who are putting the effort in to look for the best school to get a degree in that field. Just remember, RIT is notorious for being easy to get in but hard to stay in.

| Sep 26 2011 | I got decent grades in high school and maybe slightly above average on the SAT's. I did a ton of extracurricular activities and volunteer work so that may have helped too! Art & Design Department
| Mar 03 2011 | To get into the university you need the requirements of a good gpa, official transcripts, write a good essay, get good sat scores and for the design majors , a great portfolio.A portfolio that demonstrates you strongest work, as well as your versatile. Be ready for FREAZING COLD, i came from florida, a fleece and a strong winter jacket that blocks air, under armor and ear muffs are the most important. but i love it here and so will you! |
