I was the Creator of the Computer Club at my highschool as well as the Anime Club, Habitat for Humanity, Leader/President of my Youth group at temple, and had an 87% average. I privately did the books for a harvard business professor, and managed his finances during my senior year. he wrote a recommendation, which definitely helped. I grew up in westchester, parents made 200,000+ so financial aid was a non issue. that was basically the situation in which i got in to RIT. At the time i was immature, and chose RIT due to the i2 connection. (internet2 if you don't know what it is, unless your an art student find another college!) Its very easy to get lost in the system there, and find yourself on your ass be careful. its worth it if your a mature developed person, not someone whom adds 'LoL' in to every internet conversation.
I got in by a decent 3.46 H/S Gpa, and a well-written common app essay. my SAT scores for math were lower than the standards but I still got in incredibly easy to get intohard to stay |
