The Computer Animation major can be very difficult toJun 22 2014Art & Design Department
The Computer Animation major can be very difficult to get into- many of my classmates applied two or three times before finally getting in (or accepting a spot in another major and trying to transfer into CA, which i would definitely not recommend). All of the other majors have a relatively high acceptance rate.

In all the Media Arts majors (Illustration, Game Art and Computer Animation), the school is looking for artists with strong observational drawing skills, especially experience with figure drawing. Focus on accuracy in your art, as well as energy, composition and storytelling.
ACT: 32 Female

Ringling College over-accepts, so there is a good chanceApr 29 2014Other
Ringling College over-accepts, so there is a good chance that you will succeed in getting in. They are looking for life drawings, preferably naked figure drawings or still-lifes that reflect your understanding of shadow & light masses. If you're looking for a scholarship submit something outstanding that is from life and is believably realistic. Abstractions and surreal pieces aren't as well-received but it isn't impossible to do well enough with them.
