Do well on the SATs. Be a Blaustein Scholar, for NJ residents. Other than that, no idea. I did not initially go to Rutgers, but instead a well known Engineering school that shall remain nameless.
I didn't really do anything special to get here. In high school my grades were poor during frosh and soph year. Junior and senior year I picked up but not because I was worried about school. I went from a low C average freshman year to straight A's by senior. Still my gpa was low. I got a decently high score for SATs and that was probably the booster.
