I did lots of volunteer work all throughout highschool, i was captain of sports teams, and i put in a fair share of work. I recommend lots of extra curriculars, a projected major and think about your electives and how you can apply them in college.
The school is becoming harder and harder to get in. I know if i applied now i probably wouldnt get in. Get decent grades in highschool and write an essay that makes you stand out and you should have a good shot at getting in.

it's not that hard to get into, all i did was the application, i would visit the school and make sure you really think about why you want to come here. I would recommed this school, it's growing and i think it will get better with time
