I frankly looked at what school was cheapest and then decided on the athletic department. The trainers to the coaches to the Heads of the department are great people. If you come here to visit meet some of the professors and try to do an over night to get a good feel for the dorms, campus, and try to go to a class in your field.
Did all the required things obviously and I came for a tour and contacted my coach. I'd recommened talking to the faculty and writing a good essay. People will remember you here. You aren't a number here.
