Admissions is getting more strict. You must have an interview in order to be accepted now. They also raised the GPA to get in. They do an accumulative ACT as well to give you a chance at a higher score.

I transferred to Stephens, because it is a well respected institute. The president is wonderful and I believe she will provide the reform needed.

i had a fairly decent score of 29 on the ACT, i'm not sure how much higher people have scored at the school. I may have written some sort of brief essay but I seriously don't think it was necessary to get in. I think given the average test scores that you really just have to prove that you are smarter than a rock to get in.

Show your passion for one of the creative fields. If you want to be in the theatre department show your talent and experience in the field. Same for dance and fashion design. The faculty like those who want to be there to learn there for their specified career. If you can catch one of the program's faculty members you won't have a problem integrating into your major quickly.
