It is becoming increasingly hard to be admitted to St. Edwards University. I was admitted out of high school with a 3.0 GPA. I had fellow high school class mates who were not admitted and had GPA's of around 3.2-3.4. I transfered from St. Edwards to UT with a 3.67 GPA, and a 3.8 GPA in my major

It's not terribly difficult to get in, but it is somewhat competitive. An average to high SAT/ACT score, a thoughtful entrance essay, and mostly A's and B's are a sure ticket in.

its easy to get in...if you're a latino because of the migrate program and if you have money. but i notices there are more asians which is good. but there is still a lack of blacks. i like diversity so ethnicity is important to me.

I had strong high school grades (mostly As), and my grades from my transfer Universities were high as well (mostly As). If your grades aren't high, don't worry - they also want to see motivated individuals. Volunteer work is highly respected.
