this is a private school, thus it quite easy to get into it. Anyway,if you are engineering students, especially mechanical, i think it is the best choice to study here since it is one of the best school of engineering.
Not muchApr 03 2008Civil Engineering
Not much... just pass the SAT and Toefl almost barely and i'm accepted here in stevens.
For all who wanted to come, college is a place to learn your life, not exactly to earn all 21A's... So study hard, and PLAY hard!

What I would recommend? Well I can only speakAug 03 2007Telecommunications
What I would recommend? Well I can only speak from my personal experience. Make sure you know what you want to take because Stevens is great and great usually equates to expensive. So I would not try and waste valuable time taking courses for something you are not interested in. If you plan on doing research, then this school is the answer. If you are continuing your education then your work experience will help you if you are considering a masters level degree. But at the end of the day, none of that matters, the only thing that matter is you.

Good luck on your journey and if we ever cross paths, then lets have an intellectual conversation together.

I had no real issues getting in. The only advice I was given was "Take the AP chemistry exam and get a five. No matter what." I pass this advice along as it's among the wisest I've received.

If you're stupid, please don't come here, although you still have a good chance of getting in. I don't know how much it takes to get in here. Take math and science classes all 4 years. Do decent on SATs. Have above a 3.5 gpa. Interview is almost required.
