If you are applying to Stevens today, it is quite selective. In New Jersey, the only private or public institution with higher SAT's than Stevens is Princeton University. 1300+ SAT (I don't know the equivalent of the ACT exam) and 3.6+ GPA in high school are typical of Stevens students.

The school seems to be trying to shed it's Nerd Only image. If you are a female then your chances are higher to get in. If you are an attractive girl, you will most likely be accepted. Being personable is important as this will impress the staff. Most of the applicants are introverted, awkward and arrogant. They also give a large amount of scholorships. Most kids are on a half ride.
