ANYONE can get into siu. I got in with average grades/ACT score. However, if you aren't into the rural, southern scene, then this isn't the place for you. You would get more of a bang for your buck if you went to U of I, UIC, or even ISU. Don't make the same mistake that I did!
Just keep your grades up. College is what you make it, regardless of your University's name brand. If you've set your mind on getting an education, you will be successful anywhere you decide to take classes.
