What a school! It's pretty easy to get into, it's a California Public College

nothing much, basically kick it wit my hommies every weekend and clubbing a lot.

It is getting harder to get in to SJSU, but still very doable. Score well on the SAT and maintain high GPA. Sports are division 1, so a scholarship would help too.

Truthfully this university is not hard to get in. They take just about anyone unless your just the unlucky one they pick out or they are just full. You or your parents have the money? They will take you in.

Any private universities will work do your research and visit the campuses before going in. I was misled and disapoointed with SJSU.

I held a 3.8 GPA throughout high school, had done hundreds of hours volunteer work, held a job, studied abroad, was bilingual, musically and artistically gifted, and expected to meet more mature and intellectual students who simply wanted or could only afford "Commuter School San Jose State."
The application to this school is quick and easy and even a D student could get in if they applied early enough, got lucky, or had a decent SAT or ACT score.
Anyways, if you really love this school then I am very happy for you. Unfortunately, if anything I mentioned about myself sounds similar to you then keep your eyes out for other colleges. Good luck to you no matter what your choice! :)

Deciding whether or not to go to San Jose State? Let me help with the following short comments:
SJSU is the reason why I'm very well todo financially today. My major was in Engineering and I had 30 job offers upon graduation. I picked the right company with lots of stock options, cashed them in immediately after IPO, and made a fortune.
Great friends. Many were very smart especially those from other countries which there were a substantial amount when I was there. They helped me in my study habit which unlike the American students, is ineffable. To say they studied hard is an understatement, but don't let that scare you. As long as you're willing to work hard, you'll be ok. This applies only to CS major and probably most Engineering majors. I heard the Biz and Psych majors are pretty easy.
Great looking coeds!! I really do miss college now!!
Stunningly beautiful campus. Places you should stop and visit are campus village, the tower and the library. I have seen many dorms of many other campuses, and none comes close. Very luxurious. It would probably cost millions if you could buy them given the real estate value in Silicon Valley.
If I have to say something negative about the school it would be the admin; it is not that great; . Typical of DMV like service. Don't bother going to the financial aid service. That's why I never try to go in there and apply for anything. Didn't need financial aid. Bought my parking permit online or via the phone. Overall, I highly recommend sjsu. I wouldn't be here today with my current lifestyle without sjsu.
