| | Sarah Lawrence really pays attention to the personal aspects of your application. They want to make sure that you are into your education, and capable of the work. Pay special attention to your essay, and your transcript and recommendations follow in as a close second. Your personal interview is also important, with test scores optional and not particularly important. Also, if you spend the night, be nice to the people who take you in! They can write recommendations (positive or negative) and put them into your file. Basically, show that you really care about your education, and are passionate about your area of study, and you'll have a good chance. I'm not sure what got me in...A average? 1360 on SAT? It could be that I submitted some of my fiction along with my essays. just talk about how passionate you are about the arts. talk about emotions a lot. BE DIFFERENT!
