I was a transfer student and was never informed that transfer students are automatically put on Financial Aid Probation. It has nothing to do with GPA as mine was 3.3. It was like torture to the financial aid workers to give me any information. Don't bother calling, you'll have to go up there yourself if you want mildly correct information. These people don't give a damn.

Get a high ACT or take your remedials at a community college, because the basics are a pain, but once you get into classes for your major its well worth it.
