Legacy counts, but its pretty easy to get in. Have at least a 23 on your ACT, decent GPA and you should be fine.

I took AP classes and did well on my ACT and ended up getting a HUGE scholarship.

I applied really late actually, but I think my essay and B+/A- GPA got me in. They really read your essays carefully, so I would make it the best I can. If you're accepted, the letter talks about things written in your essay, so that's how you will know they really read it.

Interviewed with admissions, lots of community service and ambition. Getting in isn't too horrendously difficult, but staying in and keeping your grades up is the difficult part.
