The school is very easy to get intoSep 05 2013Education
The school is very easy to get into. I took the ACT once and got in with a kinda poor score. But if you are wanting to get in, I recommend taking the SAT instead of the ACT because the school is trying to shift around in some of their departments and i found that the SAT scores are always in the "safe zone".

I simply applied and sent in my transcripts. Before attending Sterling I had already graduated with a couple of A.A. degrees. Therefore my "basic" classes were already taken care of.
If students want to get into Sterling, the firstMay 22 2008Education
If students want to get into Sterling, the first step is applying (which I think is available online). I think the requirements are an 18 ACT and a 2.2 GPA for first time freshmen. Transfers are a different story, call the admissions office and ask. The admissions office, like the rest of the college, are friendly, competent, and helpful. Seriously, just give them a call and they can talk you through the process easily.

I applied. I met with various Faculty members. I filed my scholarship paperwork. I got in.

It is simple to get into SCFeb 02 2003Communications
It is simple to get into SC...just ask. There are some good new programs starting up, i.e. Habitat for Humanity Fellowship, Feed the Children, AmeriCorps, that require interviews. The Sterling Scholars program also requires some essays and interviews. I'd recommend people to SC...and do, almost daily. This college is pretty good now, and give it another hundred students or so, and it would be much better.
ACT: 29 Male
