it seems the standard here is you either have an artificially high GPA (because you went to an easy high school ) with poor SAT scores (i know of so many people with 4.0's and 1600 out of 2400) or as in my case an average gap (3.3) and good SAT (2200)
SAT: 1420 Male

I had good grades in high school, decent SAT scores (1850), great recommendations from teachers.

I did well on my SATS, had good grades and got great recommendations from teachers. But its not THAT hard, especially if you transfer in. Despite its great reputation and high admission standards, Geneseo is broke and desperate. They take most transfers with decent GPAs.
