"A typical student who applies to SUNY Oswego has a recommended 4 years of English and Social Studies, 6 combined years of math and science (usually including at least two lab sciences) and 2 years of a foreign language.  In addition to having the previously described academic program, tthe middle 50% of enrolled students have grades of 84 - 91 and SAT scores of 990 - 1200 (21 - 25 ACT) courses the student will carry a mid 80 GPA and around 1000 on the SAT or a 21 on the ACT.  "

It's not hard to get into SUNY Oswego at all. It was a mistake choosing to go there for simply finance reasons when I got into better schools.

I transferred with a 3.6, for need around a 3.0 to get it as a transfer student.

It's not that hard to get into at all. If you apply, you'll probably get in unless you have a sub 2.5 gpa or horrible SAT scores. It's a SUNY school. Probably if you have a 3.0+ and 1500+ you will get in.
