To get in, I had my teacher write a great review about my work, talent and passion. But that'll get you so far. Make sure you have an above average portfolio. They focus mainly on your portfolio. Especially in the art program. My friend had a 4.0 average but a below average/ (kind of ugly) portfolio, and she didn't get in. Trust me when I say, if they see how passionate you are in what you do, it'll mirror through your art. And if it's possible, try meeting the faculty in person to make a good impression. Good luck!!!

I submitted a portfolio and a statement of intent. For students who are just applying, your portfolio should have cohesive work that is based upon a theme or concept. Don't get tied up in technique and stale/redundant images that we as a society are so overly saturated with. If you've seen one sunset, you've seen em all, its about what happens during the sunset, or even after... Tell a story.

Don't even bother. Look elsewhere. About 50% of the students, according to this site! wish they had gone elsewhere. Pay attention. That is not good!

The academic requirements aren't that tough. However, they are very portfolio oriented! You really need to work on your portfolio and closely follow all directions for the submission of your work.
