This is not a hard university to get into if you are apply for an arts or science major- 68% will get you in, but is one of the best universities in the country for graduate and professional school, like law and pharmacy, so its well worth doing your undergrad here to.

It was easy to get into Engineering (entrance average at the time was only 65%). But they let in the top 400, and that ends up being people with all fairly high averages. Plus, they have a lot of "weeder" classes in first year, to fail roughly 50% out, so each year will have approximatley 200 people.
