It was easy for meDec 12 2018Accounting
It was easy for me. I had a good GPA and test scores. However, if your scores and GPA are not super high, get involved in extracurriculars at your high school and community and you should be accepted. They focus on well-rounded students over high scores, though it is becoming increasingly competitive.

What really helps your chances is showing your a well rounded person who has done a lot of activities. So being involved in a lot of clubs or showing your passion for band/orchestra is really important. With me, I originally signed up to major in music and had a meeting with a music professor beforehand to ask about my audition to get into school. It really helped to know what they are looking for in a student and also what type of professors you might be working with in the future. I think this really made them overlook my average SAT scores and see that I was willing to learn.

Having a balanced application is a mustFeb 17 2015Business - Management and Administration
Having a balanced application is a must. Many students here had a good(but not great) GPA in high school(~3.4) and were involved in a couple things. Most students here are wealthy and it seems like they pay attention to that when they accept you. When applying don't get hung up if this is not you though, because TCU loves to be different and take chances.

I transferred from an out-of-state 4 year university onSep 28 2014Nursing
I transferred from an out-of-state 4 year university on full ride scholarships, from an outside of school one. I went there to get to know someone who lived in the area and hadn't heard of the school beforehand. It's not hard to get in, and they really wanted that scholarship company's money.
