Good Grades..........And Rush and you will have a great experience!!
Computer Science
Make sure your SAT is high. That will not only make you a very competitive student to get in, but you'll also be eligible to get LOTS of scholarships and grants! (My tuition is practically half paid for!)

Meet with an admissions counselor as much as possible! I was on the border of getting in (I was wait-listed) and I just met with my admissions counselor and expressed a ton of interest and enthusiasm for the school and finally got accepted! My grades weren't perfect, but as long as you are really well balanced your chances are usually better!
Journalism
have a pulse if you are an out-of-state student, especially a male. The school is desperately trying to bridge the 38/62 male female ratio and the low out of state percentage. Really you should be golden with a 1050 SAT and a 2.8 GPA in High School and a semblence of participation in at least 1 or 2 activities.
Journalism
I got a good grade on the ACT and had pretty good grades through high school.
Journalism
For your essay where you have options be as creative as possible. I made a advertisement for the school that I saw as it strengths. They must have liked it cause it got me accepted twice. The school is looking for leaders, so make sure you are a leader at your school, church, or community.
Journalism
I was involved a lot with clubs and organizations that I believe balanced out my ACT and SAT test scores. TCU is looking for an all around student who is not just book smart but is also creative, resourceful, and able to think for themselves.
