To be honest, I had an unfair advantage because my family has had a history at Trevecca, so I had a lot of connections to begin with, plus having my intercultural background made me look good. But besides the exterior things like that. Work Hard in high school! Get good grades! Do well on the SAT and ACT. I don't think you need both of them to get in, but it wouldn't hurt to do both. Get as much experience as you can: with churches, inter-culturally, leadership roles, etc. They don't just let anyone in. Don't expect it to be as easy as it was for me.
