Texas Tech University - How to Get into Undergraduate TTU
</a>
Best advice is to make visits and do well on your SAT. If you dont get in at first ask about the Gateway program. This is not offered to everyone, but its worth asking about. You take 2 college courses over the summer before your freshman year and if you get a 2.75gpa or higher then you may be admited into the school.
Maintain high grades in HS, 21+ on ACT, Apply for admissions, get financial aid worked out (apply for any scholarships!), and enjoy the life change to come!
In high school I had about a 2.5 and my SAT scores were average. I didn't even write an essay. The school is not really very selective so try it and you will probably get in.
Keep your grades up, and do well on your SATs. Tech is becoming harder to get into, I know a small number of people who did not get in, as long as you have good grades you should be fine.
