Just be smart and apply early, while the school is growing admissions is more selective than before and space is actually somewhat limited, definitely worth applying early for.
I graduated in the top 2% of my class out of 500 students, so it wasn't that hard for me to get into Tech. I would encourage prospective students to take the ACT multiple times to get the best score you can. Apply on time and complete the application to the best of your ability. Essays should be well-written.
If you are a sober student, contact the Center for the Study of Addiction and Recovery. There are scholarships available for students recovering from any type of addiction. The support network there is wonderful also.
