Texas Woman's University is fairly easy to be accepted to. But what you must be aware of are the requirements that the individual DEPARTMENTS have. Just because you are accepted to TWU does not mean that you are accepted into the department (especially nursing, dental health etc.) Make sure that you research the department you are wishing to enter and take advantage during your visit to speak with people from your department of interest. This will not only help you to get noticed, but also will give you the chance to have familiar faces around campus.

Have a good GPA if you are a transfer student. With a 4.0 they will call you immediately after applying.

I got good grades in high school and applied. You don't have to do all that much to get in. It's the individual departments that you should worry about. They vary in difficulty.

I went to community college to save money and if you have good grades you can easily transfer. I recommend you taking most of your basics at a community college to save money unless you have a full ride scholarship.

Nothing special, I had over a 3.0 GPA and very poor SAT scores, but my current college GPA is higher than my HS GPA, so I say SAT is not that effective in proving what it is suppose to! I don't think TWU is hard school to be accepted in to.

I had a very low GPA in high school, but high test scores and they accepted me into the college and the honors program, and they gave me a scholarship. I think anyone can be accepted into this university
