Easy to get in, if you live in a neighboring state you can get in-state tuition.

It's getting far more competitive with the creation of the Arkansas Scholarship Lottery. Texans may need to start applying to the University of Oklahoma, because the UA prefers native Arkies.

I got into this University quite easily. I had a friend who had a 2.0 GPA and a 21 on his ACT and still managed to get in, so they will take practically anybody, especially if they're a minority.
