Okay to all incoming freshmen I will be finishingAug 15 2017Biology
okay to all incoming freshmen I will be finishing my time here at davis and am a mirobio major
so needless to say I have seen it all

being a science major will sick no matter where you go let me first say that

but here in davis it will really suck due to:

teachers not really caring talking down to you when you ask questions

friends- hahah please all of my friends I met through social events, clubs, and classes are all on antiaxiety medication and seem distant and lost in their own struggles

want to go out and destress- lol downtown does not have that much and youll soon get bored and see no reason to go.. for the 21 and up the bars are lame

let's say you want to be different and join a sorority DO NOT I REPEAT DO NOT these girls will rip you to pieces they are nothing but a bunch of backstabing nightmares

want to go out travel somewhere lololol sac? does not have that much to offer.. oh sf? if you do not have a car... i dont know what to tell you and if youre from socal you will not like it

so to all reading this do not choose this school you will be end up broken and lost
but hey if youre a communications major come right on in

I'd recommend going elsewhereJun 24 2015Geography and Geosciences
I'd recommend going elsewhere.

I just applied. I think the vet thing helped, eagle scout too. Transfer grades were in the low 3's.

Decent essay.

I registered like any other school with good gradesJan 07 2015Engineering Department
I registered like any other school with good grades. I recommend that you don't waste your time at this school. Your better off going to a CC and transferring to a respectable one.

My high school GPA was good but not greatAug 14 2013History/Histories (art history/etc.)
My high school GPA was good but not great. There are a lot of people who went to Davis, and had 4.0+ in high school. I think what really helped me was my personal statement as well as numerous extra curricular activities I was involved in many things during high school. Schools want to know you are a well rounded student. They don't want someone who is just good at school.
