At this time, I would not recommend going to the University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry. Until these issues are all resolved (and I strongly urge you to speak with current students to see if these issues have all been resolved), this is not the best place to put your money and time into.
The course work is difficult and I did learn a lot. In high school I took a lot of AP classes and I think that's what helped me get in. Also, I recommend taking a very thorough visit before making your decision to go there.
I was able to get in with a 3.2 GPA and a 28 on my ACT with no issues. I didn't have to write an essay or anything like that. The application process was simple and straight forward. If you score on the lower end you may be required to do some additional things to be accepted.
not to hard just be prepared to shell out some money but financial aid is readily available. On a better note the people are great (faculty and students) also you get a good education. Go Titans!!!
