Entering as a freshman you have to be at the top half of your class or have a good test score, but as long as your a good student it's not hard to get in. You don't even need to right a essay.
Just filling out the application is worth every minute of your time....
Don't think that pharmacy is a "me too" program. Iowa's program is really well grounded in balancing basic sciences and practical experience. Do as well as you can on the PCAT, get good grades and submit whatever paperwork you are required to complete. The new admissions counselor is known as a ball-buster, so check everything twice.
