I got a 2.75, ACT of 21, AP and Honors classes, good activities and I got a scholarship for $8000 a year.
Biology
I took the SATs and the ACTs & had a 3.9 GPA in high school. I was involved in several extracurriculars in high school as well, but it's not difficult to get accepted to the UM, especially for in-state students.
Philosophy
It's pretty easy to get in if your from Montana. Decent SAT scores and top 1/2 of your class should do it. They have a lean-to program if you weren't the top of your class. For out of staters it's a little harder, but it's still not as hard as most universities of its caliber.

Music Education
Getting in wasn't too hard. You just fill out the application, send in your transcripts, and you get things rolling! When you contact the Admissions Office, they'll send you a plethora of info regarding applying, student life, acedemic planning and financial aid.
