The University of Massachusetts Amherst - How to Get into Undergraduate UMASS-Amhe
</a>
I worked hard in high school and also in my first year of college at a smaller state school. The transfer process was pretty simple and I would recommend being a well rounded student and keeping your grades up.
Getting into the school is good, it doesn't take much in rigorous grades. Not difficult.
If you get in, use the Learning Resource Center, it's the only real teaching you might get on campus, but don't have them do all your homework for you.
To get in you must have well above average grades. It is getting harder to gain acceptance. I think that is a good thing. I'm in engineering and it is very challenging. You have to be willing to work and apply yourself. There are a lot of extra project to work on and the students here are smart. I can't imaging going anywhere else.
