Transfered after one year at UMass Dartmouth. Had a 3.5 GPA in my freshman year of college.

Its a big school, you have to take the good with the bad.

It really isn't that hard to get in here.

Getting into the school is good, it doesn't take much in rigorous grades. Not difficult.

If you get in, use the Learning Resource Center, it's the only real teaching you might get on campus, but don't have them do all your homework for you.

To get in you must have well above average grades. It is getting harder to gain acceptance. I think that is a good thing. I'm in engineering and it is very challenging. You have to be willing to work and apply yourself. There are a lot of extra project to work on and the students here are smart. I can't imaging going anywhere else.
