You can save time and money by going to a community college and transferring in since you can easily take 6-7 community college classes each semester easily and therefore graduating earlier. Its not a very difficult school to get into.

Honestly, I'm not certain how to NOT get in. I went to a nearby HS and it always seemed like UML was the place the C students and stoners went. Anyone who ever cared about how they did in school went off to UMass Amherst. Even the engineering students would pick Amherst; contrary to what most people think, Amherst has better engineering (the UML administration will even admit it)... So basically just complete high school.

I had to dish out $300. That was it. I don't think UMass Lowell has very high standards, because they basically will let anyone in as long as you pay them.

It's alright to get in. It's not so much about getting into school overall, but getting into individual programs. Some of the harder programs to get into are nursing, exercise physiology, and some of the engineering programs.
