Aerospace Engineering
I got a good ACT and they gave me over half tuition to go here.
Chemical Engineering
Civil Engineering
Transfer - no problem Incoming Freshman - high test score required
Computer Science
I did all the necessary stuff in applying. I took a ton of AP classes in high school, and did well on the ACT. I receieved the Chancellor's Scholarship, Curator's Scholarship, and Missouri Bright Flight.
Computer Science
Do well on the ACT/SAT. Average for students is 28 on the ACT, don't know what the SAT is. Learn how to study and learn how to manage your time. Also, if you're thinking Engineering may not be your ultimate career goal, go somewhere else now, because if you do decide that you're not an engineer, you'll be transferring.
| Electrical Engineering
They'll accept just about anyone....so don't stress out too much about getting in. If you've got decent grades, you should have no problem.
Mechanical Engineering
Score high on your ACT and or SAT and keep your GPA high and get involved in with your school and community. Apply early!
Mechanical Engineering
Do well on your exams, have good grades, and be sure to take an art or music course. Seriously.

Engineering Department
Take lots of Math and Science classes. Just about all of the classes here are based on those. Computer classes are also very important for most engineering degrees, whether just using applications or programming code. Learn how to reach out and make friends, and I would highly suggest joining a fraternity, sorority, or some type of group housing not run by the school. I did stay in the dorms a year, and did not like it one bit. Most of the people there don't either, but there are a select few that get everything they want and need out of the dorms. I would try to spend a week here over the summer in some sort of camp to find out if it is right for you. That is about all of the advice I can give you.
