I'll admit that I slacked off during my first two years of high school, so my GPA was only a 3.65. I put off taking the SAT until the last second and was only able to take it once, so I was stuck with a 1720. I still got into UNCG. Judging by the individuals you see on campus and meet in class, they'll take anyone. Don't worry about being rejected, you won't be.

It isn't a neccesity to have a great GPA and great SAT score...really good on one and average on another should be fine. A decent amount of extracurricular activites is a good thing also. I feel like it is a good overall school and it is improving as time goes on.
SAT: 950 Female

Do not trust anything the admissions department ever says to you. Check up with them constantly, and make them verify whatever they tell you. Take down the names of everyone you communicate with and write down the date of your communication.
