I would have been better off never going to college.

I came in with only my ACT score of 35 and a high school GPA of 3.78, ranked in the top 15% of my class at a private high school. I was also in the Honors Program, which requires an interview, separate application, and at least one essay.

However, the 75th percentile of students accepted into UIW score around 500 on individual SAT components. I could not find information on the 75th percentile for ACT scores, but I would estimate that it is between 20-23.

To students considering this University, make your decision very carefully. If you can get in somewhere else, odds are that it is a better school than UIW. Even if another school costs more loans...it is still wiser, as a better school will give you a more valued degree with which one can pay off those loans. UIW will give you both loans and an unappreciated degree from a rather unknown school.
