You'll have to get a nomination from your congressman, have high grades, do well on your SAT/ACT, be involved in your community/church, and be physically fit. Start your application early.

Getting in was very hard, you just have to keep on trying. Getting the okay from the Senator was definitely a pain but it was worth it.

I had stellar grades but little athletics. The physical fitness test was the hardest part for me. Emailed my congressman early, which really helped. My grandfather is a retired Technical Sergeant and my dad taught Civil Air Patrol, which made me a good candidate.
