I'm an elite superstar so I just applied usingJun 25 2013Math
I'm an elite superstar so I just applied using minimal effort and I got in. If other students want to get in, just do what they say, and make sure you have at least a 22 ACT score and you're 100% for sure getting accepted here.

My high school cumulative was a 3May 23 2012Education
My high school cumulative was a 3.7. I made 23 on the ACT after taking it a second time. I sent in two letters of recommendation, but I don't think the school really looked those over too much. I think they care more about your grades and your involvement in high school. I was a cheerleader and a member of SGA. I was also pretty active at my local church. Just make sure you're dedicated in high school; it will translate once you apply to USD. Good luck.

Getting into USD isn't too hardMay 23 2012Nursing
Getting into USD isn't too hard. However they do pay a lot of attention to your involvement in school. Make sure you have a few extracurriculars on your transcripts. And, of course, maintain at least a 3.0 GPA and good grades. Pretty simple.

I tookApr 30 2012Nursing
I took my ACT got a 21 gave them my GED got a 2710 which equals a 542 and got accepted. I was told with in a few weeks. I got my GED in January 2011 took my ACT in April 2011 applied in May 2011 and was accepted for the Fall semester in Aug. 2011. Was not difficult. I applied to one school and that was it. The aid was enough to buy what I needed. Only wished they changed when you got it I had to get pay day loans to buy my books. I was told by my advisor that I could not buy my books from The School of Mines bookstore and have them apply it to my account. They would have took the money out when my aid came in. I asked her this when I first started I was talking to her again after I go my pay day loan during the second semest did she change her mind. A friend told me they did allow it so I had to ask again.
My best advise is to try hard and get good grades.

Getting into USD is not as difficult as someJan 09 2012Journalism
Getting into USD is not as difficult as some of your other universities, like University of Iowa or UGA or the University of Virginia. But they are a little selective when it comes to GPAs and class standing. Make sure you're in at least the top 50% of your class and at least a 2.5 GPA. That's not too hard, right? They don't require an essay or recommendations. You just have to complete the online application and send them your high school transcripts and SAT scores.
